Day Three: Kamilla is 14 months old today!

Pictures: The top pictures is a little photo album of our family that I gave to her. She mainly wanted to eat it! The pictures of her were right after she woke up -- doesn't she have that "just waking up" look? Also, you can see how she is more and more of a dickens --- always wanting Mommy's camera! lol.

Today's visit with Kamilla went so so well. She always wants to be in my lap now. She brings her toys over and sits in my lap to play with them. I wiped her nose with a soft napkin I had. She wanted the napkin, and then was wiping my face.

I know how to make her laugh more and more.

I got to feed her twice.

She likes to explore my face and look at me.

And, she is becoming more and more noisy. Making sounds while I bounce her is one of her favorite things, but then she makes more noises just all the time, when she plays. I always say the same sound back or ask her what? what are you saying? The encouragement seems to be working.

She was so snuggly today. She has a bit of a cold and is teething. She lets me kiss up her face, and doesn't seem to mind.

She is constantly curious and figuring everything out. She likes to do things that involve me. Like if she has two puzzle pieces and I have one, she likes us to click the puzzle pieces together.

I sit in front of the bathroom door a lot to keep her from going in there -- so she started doing this thing where she would kind of run and throw herself at me, smiling. And, to distract her I'd say "Kamilla" and swing her around -- and dance with her and kiss her, and throw her in the air.

Well now, no matter where I am sitting-- is she wants that attention, she'll run and throw herself at me.

Sometimes she'll just laugh and smile and be playing (which is not how she normally is -- she is usually more serious) -- but I see her being more and more happy.
