Dear Friends & Family - I hope you will share my journey to Kazakhstan to adopt my daughter with me. I am leaving on Monday October 12th. I will arrive in Semey, Kazakhstan (where my daughter is) on Wednesday, October 14th.
I'm to meet her on October 15th, but I'm hoping they will let me meet her right away on Wednesday the 14th, when I arrive.
Kazakhstan is between Russia and China. The area I am going to is Semey, which is near the border of Russia.
I am to stay in Semey 5 weeks -- so there will be a lot to write about.
Yippee!! You have a blog!!! Next week at this time you will be there :-) I am so excited for you and can't wait to read all your posts!! I actually have a friend who is in the Peace Corps not too far from Semey right now and she tells me what a good area that is!! yay!!

ReplyDeleteBest wishes on your travels to meet this lucky little lady! Let us know how you are getting there - - - why does it takes 2 days? Is anyone meeting you and helping you around? Where do you stay for the weeks you are there? I'm very curious how all this happens.
